@willowslade If you don’t know them and like this one, try « Bela Lugosi’s Dead » and « She’s in Parties », enjoy :)

A must read: FROM BAUHAUS TO OUR HOUSE .

I associate this song to a kid who is sexually abused and is speaking about his/her abuser and how the experience has shattered his/her life.

One of the greatest Bauhaus songs ever, also one of the greatest songs off of their final album. I just turned 40 and still have these albums on vinyl. Also love Tones on Tail. Check out Tones on Tail for a real treat!

@xkhuongdox Ignore that prick. In response I would suggest
    Fields Of The Nephilim-The Nephilim
    Elisium
    The Sisters of Mercy- Floodland
    The Chameleons-
    Rosetta Stone-
    Christian Death-
Good luck, my friend, I love The Nephilim, and hope you love them too! x

@ArturoVergaraM I don’t call myself a goth. I just enjoy the music :) But whatever. I was in love with the song The Figurehead by The Cure so I was just looking for a band with a similar sound and someone recommended me Bauhaus. I never like Friday I’m In Love. How does not liking a particular style in music make me a poser? God. Maybe you’re a poser yourself eh?

I don’t listen exclusively to gothic rock. So please fuck off.

    @xkhuongdox you’re such a poser…

You guys know any bands similar to Bauhaus and The Cure (their dark eras like Bloodflowers, Pornography, Disintegration)?

  21. DarthVil dit :

@boredbranflakes Not really. Yeah, they often wear black (not exclusively). Their music of that band doesn’t even sound distinctively like, say, Bauhaus (the band whose music to which this thread is attached).

@Evarose777 i love songs that do that

  23. Evarose777 dit :

i was looking at the moon when i was listening to this, it was a beautiful moment.

  24. Spankabuttux dit :

I wonder if it says anything about me that I let the silence continue to the end because
A: I want it to get another view number and
B: nice chance to roll some fags!

  25. Darkicity dit :

    Bauhaus are forever immortally great
